Angelas Ashes

I'm expecting this book to keep my attention, tell a good story, and be very interesting. The book is about a young boy growing up in poverty in Ireland. The book talks about his life and family struggles.
I don't know anything about the author except that his name it Frank Mccourt and that he is a retired teacher in his late 50's.
I like to read books that are exciting and have a lot of detail, usually books with major conflicts.
I chose this book because it looked interesting.
